What is color coated board？
Color-coated steel sheets are coated with organic paint, which can achieve a variety of colors. This is where the name "color-coated steel sheet" comes from. It's also called "organic-coated steel sheet" for short. Because color-coated steel sheets are coated before they're formed, they're also known as pre-coated steel sheets abroad. The organic coating on color-coated steel sheets acts as a barrier, preventing rust and extending their service life.
The substrates for color-coated steel sheets include cold-rolled, hot-dip galvanized, electrogalvanized, hot-dip galvanized aluminum-magnesium, and galvanized steel sheets. The topcoats used for color-coated steel sheets mainly include polyester, silicone-modified polyester, polyvinylidene fluoride, and high-durability polyester. The production process has evolved from one coat and one bake to two coats and two bakes, and now also three coats and three bakes.
