Checkered Steel Plate Specification & Parameter Table
Checkered steel plate, also known as reticulated steel plate, is a steel plate with diamond-shaped or ridged surfaces.
The pattern can be a single diamond, lentil, or bean-shaped pattern, or it can be a combination of two or more patterns.

The pattern primarily serves an anti-slip and decorative purpose. Combination checkered plate offers significantly superior anti-slip performance, bending resistance, metal savings, and appearance compared to single checkered plate.
Checkered steel plate is widely used in industries such as shipbuilding, boilers, automobiles, tractors, train cars, and construction.
Because of its ridged surface, checkered steel plate offers an anti-slip effect and is used in flooring, factory escalators, work platform steps, ship decks, and vehicle flooring.
Checkered steel plate is used in workshops, large equipment, or as steps in walkways and staircases on ships. It features a diamond or lentil-shaped pattern embossed on the surface.

1. According to the process principle, pattern steel can be roughly divided into the following common categories:
(1) Crystallized pattern steel: natural pattern steel, wootz steel/wootz, meteorite (black gold), top-grade rough pattern steel, top-grade wrought iron.
(2) Casting pattern steel: made by smelting pig iron and "wrought iron", hundred-refined steel and crucible steel (cast steel)/wrought iron.
(3) Spin-welded pattern steel: spin-welded spin-welded embedded steel, spin-welded horse tooth clamped steel.
(4) Patterns produced by multi-pass clamped steel and embedded steel forging: wolf bite blade.
(5) Ground texture: patterns produced by steel coating, soil coating and blade burning technology.
(6) Folded pattern steel: made by repeatedly folding and forging two or more steel or "iron" materials with large carbon content differences.
(7) Filed pattern steel: obtained by filing off the surface material of the blade of a sword that has already been clamped steel and forging it flat. If properly controlled, this type of sword will have a better pattern, be sharper, and have a certain degree of elasticity.
(8) Machined imitation Damascus steel pattern (patterned steel): Machined imitation Damascus steel is made by mechanically changing the welded steel layer, or synthesizing it through various procedures, mainly by twisting and then filing (cutting) to form patterned steel. Foreign powder Damascus steel is the best.
(9) Fusion pattern steel: The material is a variety of steels with different carbon contents. Patterns can be produced by industrial fusion, welding and other processes.
(10) Pickled pattern steel: Made by uneven surface carburization.
2. According to the surface smoothness:It can be divided into flat pattern and rough pattern;
3. According to the material, it can be divided into: cast crystal pattern steel (wootz steel, wrought iron) and artificial forging (welded) pattern steel.
