By structure
According to the structure, it is divided into single-twist (strand) wire rope, double-twist (multi-strand) wire rope and three-twist (cable) wire rope.
Single-strand (strand) wire rope: refers to a single-strand leather M3P bundle formed by twisting multiple or multiple layers of rope-making wires of the same or different diameters around the center line or fiber core. Single-twist (strand) wire rope is characterized by simple structure, convenient manufacturing, but low strength, easy to loosen, easy to rotate. Single-twist (strand) wire rope is mainly used in the cart
cables and wires, etc.
Double-twisted (multi-strand) wire rope: refers to a multi-strand or multi-layer steel wire bundle formed by a plurality of single-twisted (stranded) steel wire bundles around a fiber or metal core. Double-twisted (multi-strand) wire rope is the most common type, which is characterized by stable structure, high strength and good flexibility, but large weight and elongation. Double twist (multi-strand) wire rope is mainly used for general purpose and special purpose, etc.
