Roof Purlins and Wall Beams
Applications: This is the most classic application of C-shaped steel. Purpose: Primarily used to secure and support roof panels (such as color-coated steel sheets and metal tiles) and wall panels, transferring loads such as wind, snow, and rain from the panels to the main structure. Its C-shaped opening design facilitates installation and fastening.
Lightweight Steel Structure Frame
Applications: In low-rise light-weight steel frame residential systems, C-shaped steel is often used in conjunction with U-shaped steel as the keel for load-bearing walls, floor beams, and roof trusses.
